Learning Concepts, Subject Areas and Routines

Learning concepts are foundation skills and knowledge that are expected of each student to comprehend and master different subject areas like Literacy, Math, Science and Discovery, Social Studies, Computer Technology, Pre-Writing / Writing, Chinese Language, Music, Movement, Creative Art, Cooking and Self-Help.

Routines are the framework of the programs for young children. It is constant and certain events are repeated everyday, providing continuity and a sense of order to the schedule. In creating schedules, it is also important to provide a healthy balance for children, between group times and more solitary moments, quiet and noisy activities, indoor and outdoor play.
